Big Bass Studio
Big Bass Studio is one of those games I opened expecting five minutes and closed an hour later. It's a fishing simulation with a surprisingly calm rhythm: you scout a spot, pick a lure, cast, and then read the little cues in the water before you set the hook. The controls are all touch and drag — pull back to cast, tug at the right moment, then steer the reel by easing the line left or right so it doesn't snap.
What kept me coming back is how the game rewards attention instead of speed. Different fish react to different lures and times of day, and once you start noticing the patterns you feel genuinely clever landing a big one. The studio-building side lets you upgrade gear and unlock new locations at your own pace, so there's a light progression loop without any pressure to rush.
Visually it's clean and unhurried, with nice water sounds that make it a good wind-down game. It's not deep in the way a sprawling RPG is, but as a relaxing sim it hits the mark. My only gripe is that early gear feels a little slow, but push past the first hour and it opens up.
